PERSONAL HISTORY: A former *CIA operative*, John Merrivel, retired to start his own law firm with college friend, Bill Sanders. During his last *CIA mission* he met Miranda, a single mother and Carrie Mae operative. Struck by her beauty & intelligence, he agreed to keep Carrie Mae a secret. Upon retirement, he reconnected with Miranda; they married shortly thereafter and had one child of their own.
